Your date of birth is fixed. Your name is different. It may be the name you were given, the name you chose, a name you're considering for a child, or a name you're thinking about for a business.
Whatever the reason, a name becomes part of everyday life. It is said, written and remembered countless times. That makes it worth looking at more closely.
A reading starts with two things: your name and your date of birth. The numbers are calculated from both, then considered together. Different parts of the reading look at personality, strengths, tendencies, challenges, work and direction, as well as the relationship between your name and your numbers.
The aim is not to reduce someone to a single number. It's to look at the whole picture.
Numerology Collective uses a traditional numerology system with its own calculations and terminology. Your report may include terms such as Life Number, Corporal Number, Vital Number, Expression Number, Soul Urge and Personality Number.
You don't need to understand these terms before ordering a reading. Each one is explained in the report, along with how the numbers relate to you.
A name works something like a radio set, and a birth date works something like the station it's tuned to. If the dial isn't sitting on the right frequency, the signal doesn't come through clearly — not because anything's broken, just because it's not lined up. Adjusting a name is closer to retuning the dial than fixing something.
Or think of it like water dripping from a tap. If the pot isn't placed directly underneath, the water still falls — it just doesn't get collected. A name in step with a birth date is the pot placed where the water actually lands.

The reading isn't generated the moment you submit your details. Each one is worked through individually before the report is written. The numbers are considered together, the relevant interpretations are reviewed, and the finished reading is put into a PDF report.
It takes a little longer. That's intentional. A personal reading should feel personal.
Numerology is an interpretive practice. It isn't a science, and it can't tell you exactly what will happen in your life. It can, however, offer another perspective.
